Practicum/OJT Day 6
The day started early for my officemates. They were all busy and seems like they are loosing their minds a little bit. They became busier when all the Branch Managers and all other higher officers of Planters Development Bank came in the building. All those officers were here because of the product launch and meeting. Almost everyone had the poker face on but when you talk to them they are still very friendly and approachable. They were all busy for the reports today to all the Managers and higher officers and their report tomorrow for the EVP.
My boss and I finished our report ahead of time so pressure isn’t a factor here. She is planning to bring me to World Trade Center with her because there is a trade exhibit. I want to go to because I haven’t been in a trade exhibit before. So hopefully Friday would be my first.
One thing that I learned here in this company is to present to the boss fully prepared. You have to sell your presentation to the boss before you can do it in public. He must be convinced about the marketing campaign first before he signs for any releases. Everything a department has worked for relies on just one signature before it could operate. So, you must make your presentation neat, correct, concise and prepare back-ups (raw data).
